Visual Studio 2017 includes many different workloads for different functions. To install RDKit, I am using Anaconda which is a command line installation tool for Python libraries. Therefore it would seem to a good fit to use RDKit to visualize a structure inline within the Jupyter Notebook. RDKit is an open source cheminformatics software toolkit which can be called from Python and includes API’s to generate SVG representations of chemical structures. When analyzing data that has an associated molecular structure, it would be useful to visualize the structure within the current Jupyter notebook page rather than finding the record in the dataset and copy/pasting the raw structure format into another application. 8 months, 2 weeks ago Thanks, All we need is to run cmdlets with conda prefix, in my case zsh:"jupyter notebook" "error:upyter notebook cmd could not found".The Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that allows the creation and sharing of documents that can contain embedded Python code, and, data visualizations in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), and text. I am using Zsh 2 years, 4 months ago Was everything working otherwise? I believe that manually adding conda to the PATH is discouraged in the documentation. 2 years, 6 months ago The issue arises as you haven't configured the environment variables 2 years, 6 months ago It depends on which shell you are using. zshrc with export PATH=$HOME/opt/anaconda3/bin:$PATH and can confirm jupyter-notebook now works. 3 years, 4 months ago You need to run that command from the anaconda folder (if you've downloaded and installed the package) 2 years, 12 months ago It may be installed into the opt folder now. TL DR use export PATH=~/anaconda2/bin:$PATH after installing Anaconda 5 years, 7 months ago If you do source bin/activate your path should be modified for you by that script. 6 years ago Have you tried to restart the terminal so the new paths take effect? 6 years ago Is your conda environment activated? i.e did you do source bin/activate ? 6 years ago source bin/activate - that was it! wasn't aware that I need to do that as well! thanks! 5 years, 7 months ago This link talks about how to activate conda. that should just come as part of anaconda installation. 4 years, 4 months ago Related Topics python anaconda jupyter-notebook Comments 6 years ago to be clear: jupyter notebook opens a notebook in the browser it does not install jupyter.
